Moms and Dads have the responsibility of providing a safe stable environment for their children. Here are a few tips for wholesome living.
This page is being constantly updated. Check back again.
Left neck and shoulder pain could mean your adrenal gland is out of sync. That means your hormones too could be out of sync.
Bright lights hurting your eyes could mean your pupils are enlarged- a symptom of too much carbohydrate consumption.
The liver detoxifies your body. Eat more protein to help this process. Add in Peanut Butter, sunflower seeds, meatballs, greens. Each meal should have a serving of protein.
If you have a sugar or chocolate craving could mean theres too much soy in your diet, causing estrogen increase and hence the craving for fast fuel. Cut down soy and check back on your cravings.
Eat whole foods, nuts, seeds, grains, whole-grain flour. When possible, eat organic whole foods which have the least chance of getting chemicals into them. These chemicals seep into our body's systems and weaken its immunity- most of the times, the immune system can handle the pressure but sometimes it breaks down and shows up as diseases.
Drink pure, natural water. Hydrate from within, not just outside.
Consume Cod Liver Oil in its pure state, not a capsule.
Take time to calm your body totally at least once a week. Meditate. Destress with a warm bath with essential oils in it. Read a book. Try your hand at writing a poem.
Read about different cultures and keep an open mind to the ancient wisdom they bring.
Use natural clothing when possible. Cotton, Silk, Wool will be easy on your body than synthetics.
Spend time interacting with people away from the computer. Talk to your neighbour for 5 minutes - or to the boy in the park.
Be at peace with yourself, your situation, your condition. Somebody, somewhere will be worse off than you.
Count your blessings and make a list you can look at sometime during the day.
