Is there a dependency on Surestop or do you have to go up higher in strength, just like steroids?
There is no dependency.
Stopping use of Surestop will not aggravate the condition- it will merely go back to its own pace gradually.
When persons are using steroids for eczema, this is what happens:
The condition is pushed in and while there is immediate relief, subsequent flares would need stronger or more frequent steroid use to provide the same amount of relief.
Steroids provide an immense amount of relief and we are not against its use, but rather, to make available an alternate natural option which may also provide some relief
With Surestop, once you find the most effective strength to start with, we recomment you go down, not up, in strength over time, see below.
Example usage
Say you are using Medium strength Surestop, corresponding to mid-level Steroid, Betnovate.
After the initial 3-5 flares go down, in say 5-10 applications , which may mean there is good control.
For the 6th flareup, we recommend you go down the strength and see how Regular
helps. If Regular controls the flareup in say, 15-20 uses, stick to Medium. If regular helps in 5-10 applications, it can mean that the intensity of eczema has come down, and Regular can be the mainstay, with sporadic or spot applications of Medium on stubborn areas.
If there is no indication whatsoever of Medium helping in 5-10 uses (2-5 days, atleast twice daily), meaning only marginal relief in itchiness, redness & general irritability, a Strong blend may be indicated.
Which cases will improve quickest
Mild-moderate eczema in babies & adults, especially those who have not had eczema for long time improve the quickest.
This is because the immune system has not been dampened too much over time, and the natural system gets a helping hand with Surestop.
Two critera for longer usage & stronger strength of Surestop are indicated:
1. Long time dealing with eczema
2. Strong steroid usage and frequent usage, which means the intensity of
eczema is high.
Both conditions put together, takes longer & stronger doses of Surestop. But even though they take more time and patience, there is still hope.
We think Surestop Strong will be enough to relieve this condition with
time, but if there is not even minor improvement seen within a week, you
can mail us for a Severe blend which we reserve for worst cases.

What if I want to use Surestop with steroids?
That defeats the purpose of trying to make the body heal itself which we are trying to do.
Steroids tend to push the condition in, and dampen the immune system further.
2 ways to deal with this are
1. If a flareup is very severe, discontinue use of Surestop and continue
again when milder flare occurs. This could make further healing at a slower pace, but
sometimes there is no way out. You are the best judge. Or you could try #2:
2. When absolutely not possible to stop regular use of steroids, a course
of action that maybe better is that, instead of applying steroid twice
a day (morning & night), use Surestop 1-2 times in the day and steroid
once at night and gradually space out steroids further as convenient, maybe even applying every alternate day.
How effective is Surestop
We have over 60% rate of success with Surestop. However, initial process
to find which strength is effective takes time, especially as the immune system has to kick in, initial relief may be longer to obtain than the next few.
We generally recommend you take 2 strengths, the lower one for face and
stronger for body & for stubborn spot applications. As per cases, this seems to be
the most effective plan of action.
Bear in mind that there will be a gradual improvement with Surestop, most cases 4-6 applications
(if applying twice a day, in 3 days), you should know on improvement in terms of less itchiness, redness, irritability, etc.
It wont stop it like a steroid does, but will taper off gradually.
What about Skin infections
Skin infections delay healing of eczema, and Surestop includes antimicrobial essential oils
When steroids do not give relief to certain areas, it mays indicate a bacterial infection along with eczema. Surestop Strong has the highest concentration of Antimicrobials and we recommend using it on such stubborn spots.

Application

Apply in a gentle circular clockwise motion on lymph glands as this is deemed appropriate
