"I frequently buy from Vitamin World's Website and one day tried their Aromatherapy oils. I had read that Lavender n Tea tree Oils were anti-bacterial and would kill the bacteria and clear my spots in a few days of neat application. I tried using the Lavender Oil and later the Teatree Oil from Vitamin World but it didnt really work much and the spot spread as usual. So I gave up after a few days, thinking, ok, this doesnt work either.

Then I tried using the Lavender Oil from Naturals, which said they really had therapeutic benefits..they were a little more expensive than Vitamin World... but hey, the spot shrank after 1 night only!! I was really surprised.

I also wrote them for an oil blend to help clear up my acne for me and I was sent a formula and the oils required to make it with information of how exactly they work. I've been using that with good results on my skin eruptions. Now, I feel confident about using other Essential Oils from Naturals.

Why didnt Vitamin World's Oils work as well as ours?

Our Aromatherapist says that the main reason would be that they are diluted oils, maybe with some added fragrance as our customer said their Lavender smelt a lot better .. The purity of the oils is not mentioned in the Vitamin World Shop only that you can make soothing scents.
Be careful to check what it says about the purity of the oils before you buy. Otherwise you'll end up with a "perfumed" oil.
In fact, perfumed oils with some amount of the essential oil give a bad name to Aromatherapy coz when users dont see the benefits of the oils, they think the Science is wrong..

The Essential Oil is the essence of the plant and extremely strong. They are highly potent and their therapeutic nature must be studied well before using. They heal your body and your soul if used in recommended dilution (of around 1-3%). See uses of Essential oils and check dilution for each method
After dilution, most of them are pleasant in fragrance. The aroma of an Essential Oil grows on you as you allow it to heal, relax or stimulate you.

For making your own Fabulous perfumes, try the Absolute or Essential Oils of Rose, Jasmine and Neroli. Some people like Geranium's floral scent and Lavender's pleasantness to wear. Everybody has their own favorites. I know somebody who loves the florally citrussy Petitgrain and somebody who likes the heavy scent of Patchouli . It all depends on your sense of smell and your mental need to some extent...
