Bergamot
Citrus Bergamia

The green tinted bergamot oil scents men's colognes and aftershaves. Used extensively in perfumes and cosmetics especially suntan lotions and eau-de-cologne.
Make your own Earl Grey Tea by adding 1 drop of bergamot to a teapot with tealeaves and pouring hot water over it. Drink immediately.

Recent research in Italy has shown that bergamot oil has a wide spectrum of applications. Bergamot destroys bacteria, viruses, and fungi, so it's used to treat urinary tract, mouth, and throat infections and for the flu. It also increases the production of white blood cells, which helps the body rid itself of the aforementioned offenders even faster. It also makes a pleasantly scented, natural deodorant that kills odor-causing bacteria. The aroma is second only to lavender in its ability to relax brain waves when sniffed, and this is very calming. But don't inhale too much, bergamot also has sedative properties and can relax you right to sleep! You can also use the oils as an antidepressant.

SAFETY CAUTIONS: Will increase a sunburn, photo-toxic, possible irritant for sensitive skin or in strong dilution. Use with caution on people with very sensitive skin. Use in low dilution and always dilute in 5 ml carrier oil first for a bath

Warnings
- Never mix more than 3 oils in any one treatment as the synergistic effects are less predictable.

- Essential Oils are for the use of adults only unless specifically indicated for use on children/infants.
- Never exceed a maximum of 1-3% solution of essential oil to base oil. Approximately 25 drops of essential oil in 50ml of base oil should be used.
