Carrot Seed ( Daucus Carota)

Carrot seed essential oil is best known for the care of dry or damaged skin and hair, dermatitis, eczema, rashes and even pre-cancerous skin conditions. Despite its carrot smell, it is used in some complexion creams to improve skin tone, elasticity, and general skin health. It may even slow the progression of wrinkles.
Carrot seed makes a good essential oil for anyone who spends a lot of time outside because it reduces the frequency of skin problems produced by the sun.
Carrot Seed oil helps heal abscesses, boils and ulcers. Also helps treat liver and gallbladder disorders, particularly hepatitis, colitis, and enteritis.
Carrot seed stimulates the lymph system and has styptic properties. It also aids women's milk production after childbirth. You may have difficulty finding this oil in stores

Contributes to clear and healthy skin. Promotes growth and is a cell regenerator. Nail strengthener, hair tonic.
Is an antioxidant and protects the body from cancer and other diseases including infections, especially of organs lined with mucous membranes.

Warnings
- Never mix more than 3 oils in any one treatment as the synergistic effects are less predictable.

- Essential Oils are for the use of adults only unless specifically indicated for use on children/infants.
- Never exceed a maximum of 1-3% solution of essential oil to base oil. Approximately 25 drops of essential oil in 50ml of base oil should be used.
