Cedarwood ( Juniperus virginiana)

An aromatherapy steam with cedar essential oil treats respiratory infections and clears sinus and lung congestion.

The essential oil is also an astringent that dries oily or blemished skin when used in a facial wash or spritzer. Added to a salve or hair conditioner, it relieves eczema, psoriasis, skin inflammation, and dandruff, especially when these conditions are related to excessively oily skin. Cedarwood is also good for dry hair because it increases the ability of your skin and scalp to hold in water.

You can also put it on itchy bug bites.

Warnings
- Never mix more than 3 oils in any one treatment as the synergistic effects are less predictable.

- Essential Oils are for the use of adults only unless specifically indicated for use on children/infants.
- Never exceed a maximum of 1-3% solution of essential oil to base oil. Approximately 25 drops of essential oil in 50ml of base oil should be used.
