Quick Reference Chart for Essential Oil Properties

This Chart gives a Quick Reference to the healing properties of Essential Oils
from Aniseed - Yarrow.
Each oil has very specific properties and should be evaluated individually to best understand it.

Warnings

- This chart is a general guide only. Chronic conditions should be referred to a medical practitioner.
- Never mix more than 3 oils in any one treatment as the synergistic effects are less predictable.
- Many oils are to be avoided in Pregnancy. See Aroma Potions> Pregnancy
Particular
- Essential Oils are for the use of adults only unless specifically indicated for use on children/infants.
- Never exceed a maximum of 1-3% solution of essential oil to base oil. Approximately 25 drops of essential oil in 50ml of base oil should be used.

How to use Chart 2: Essential Oil HEALING PROPERTIES

Each number in Chart 2 represents an essential oil, the notation is given in Chart 1.
   1) In Chart 1 see the number of the Essential Oil. Pick the number column in Chart 2 and see against the properties (horizontal) it refers to.
  OR 2) See the property you want in Chart 2 , make a note of the numbers. In Chart 1, see the Essential oil names.
Properties are given at both horizontal ends of the table
