Aphrodisiac used by the ancient Kings of India in their harem as it is helpful with sexual problems such as frigidity and impotence.

This relaxing oil could be useful for tension, depression, nervous exhaustion, chronic illness and anxiety.
Sandalwood oil relieves itching and inflammation of the skin, is good for scarring, dry eczema, ageing and dehydrated skin. Excellent for sunburn as it keeps the moisture in.

Safe for Oral use, in fact gonorrhoea is treated with it from ancient times. Known to Relieve candida, thrush, 3-6 drops taken orally symptoms reduce within 1 week. Removes high colored and smelly urine which are symptomatic of infections in a few days.

One of the oldest incense materials, Sandalwood has been in use for at least 4,000 years.
The sandal tree grows almost exclusively in the forests of India. As the tree grows, the essential oil develops in the roots and heartwood, which requires atleast 15 to 20 years. The tree reaches its full maturity in 60 to 80 years, which is when the center of the slender trunk (the heart wood) has achieved its greatest oil content. The core of dark heartwood gradually develops, which is covered by outer sapwood. The sandalwood tree is never felled, but uprooted in the rainy season, when the roots are richer in the precious essential oil. The best quality oil comes from the Indian province of Mysore and Tamil Nadu where the harvest of Sandalwood trees are protected by the state government.

Warnings
- Never mix more than 3 oils in any one treatment as the synergistic effects are less predictable.

- Essential Oils are for the use of adults only unless specifically indicated for use on children/infants.
- Never exceed a maximum of 1-3% solution of essential oil to base oil. Approximately 25 drops of essential oil in 50ml of base oil should be used.
