The essential oil Thyme reduces tiredness and neurasthenia and helps build strength after long illnesses. Thyme has even been thought to increase intelligence and concentration.
The oil is antibacterial; it acts on the bacteria's enzymes. Thyme destroys staphylococcus even after the oil has been diluted 1,000 times. The essential oil is more effective as a disinfectant than many chemical disinfecting lotions, and it has, in addition, antiviral properties.

It is used in the treatment of a wide range of conditions including whooping cough, warts, rheumatism, neuralgia, fatigue, and acne. Just to make it a perfect all-rounder, thyme will discourage all manner of parasites and insects from invading your home.

Warnings
- Never mix more than 3 oils in any one treatment as the synergistic effects are less predictable.

- Essential Oils are for the use of adults only unless specifically indicated for use on children/infants.
- Never exceed a maximum of 1-3% solution of essential oil to base oil. Approximately 25 drops of essential oil in 50ml of base oil should be used.
