Applications:
Massage, skin care, inhalation, meditation. Uplifting, centering, used for insomnia, courage, and confidence. Also used in high-class perfumery.

This is a small, tender, perennial plant with dark green, heart-shaped leaves, fragrant violet-blue flowers, and an oblique underground rhizome. The oil is obtained from the fresh leaves.

Warnings
- Never mix more than 3 oils in any one treatment as the synergistic effects are less predictable.

- Never exceed a maximum of 1-3% solution of essential oil to base oil. Approximately 25 drops of essential oil in 50ml of base oil should be used.
