Pregnancy Particular: Common Ailments
Too many oils are considered unsafe in Pregnancy by various people.
The safest way is to stick to the SAFE Pregnancy Oils. See
list below for Oils safe for Usage in Pregnancy, rather Oils that benefit
Pregnancy
1. Peppermint
2. Jasmine
3. Rose
4. Petitgrain,
5.Neroli
Sandalwood
Lavender
Geranium very very dilute
Clary Sage but not Sage.
Backache : Bergamot & Orange work wonders for a
back that has used all its muscles to give birth. It is said that Jasmin
helps too
Sandalwood and Lavender work really well too, but I've only used it before
birth as Bergamot and Orange were too good to be true and Sandalwood is
a rarity so I try not to use it when a substitute is possible.
Use 3 drops Bergamot and 2 Orange in 1 Tbsp of carrier oil.
Stretch Marks
Base Aloe Vera, Wheat Germ, Sesame or Avocado. When pregnant,
stick to the safer oils like Lavender, Neroli and Rose which have good
cell-regenerating powers. Start in your 5th month while the scars are
still reddish. If you wait till the reddish scars set into deep tissue
and turn white, you will need to use the stretch marks blend for a few
months...remember they formed over a few months.. Deeper scars take a
longer time.
5 drops in 1tbsp. If using Rose Absolute, first dilute 1 drop of absolute
in 20 drops of carrier and use 3 drops of this and 2 drops of Lavender.
If you can afford to buy Neroli,
it will bring excellent results.
If not pregnant, go look at the excellent
stretch marks blend in Bodybeauty
Blues -after birth, or before , tackle those bouts of
manic depression by giving urself a light massage with Clary Sage. If
after birth, you could try taking a drop internally. Just make sure the
baby doesnt get close to the smell. Rose will calm you and cheer you up
so will Jasmine
